Finally, my first Wordpress theme is up & running. After my attempt of making the
3-column GlossyBlue Theme, I’ve decided to develop my own wordpress theme.

In fact, it has been quite some time since I’ve wanted to have my own theme. The problem is I have no PHP, HTML, CSS, etc background. I was never an IT person nor am I a coding expert. So, I did some study on the PHP coding, some HTML coding, some this and some there.
I’ve also made effort to learn from all of those theme gurus out there. I guess the best way to do it is diving right into the coding then you’ll learn through trial and errors. In short, Rest_Assured is a 3-column widgetised WordPress theme. This theme looks exactly like the one I am using now in this site. Here are some of the features available in the theme:
- It supports WordPress Widgets.
- Tested on WordPress 2.2 above
- Tested in IE and Firefox
This theme will be available for download soon. Yes, after I clean-up some of my Google Adsense coding and some bugs
Finished with my testing and bug fixes. Now, you will be able to test and download the theme: Rest Assured Theme
More of it can be found at My Wordpress Theme
