I am pissed-off with Airasia!
I was supposed to be on my way back to KL via AK5259 at 2140 hours. Come 2100 hours, nothing was happening yet. Usually 30 mins before the flight, there is always an activity going-on i.e. people rushing to queue to get the first row. As an experienced traveler, I know the must be something bad going-on. Few minutes later, the Airasia crew makes an announcement that the flight will be delayed. Now, it will depart at 2220 hours. For me, delay is a normal thing, therefore this is not the reason why I am pissed-off.
Come boarding time, everything seems to be smooth. Except once we boarding the plane, the pilot made an announcement that they have a problem with the aircraft brake. It seems like the brake is too hot. The pilot specifically mentioned that the thing is unserviceable.
These are the kind of thing that makes me angry. First of all, safety should be the priority in airline industry. Therefore, regular service should be done to the aircraft. What is the use of being one of the 50 Fast Growing Company if the basic issue like safety are not addressed.
Enough said, something need to be done right at the first place. For me, HSE is more important than making money when it involves other people’s life.
Note: Now I am wondering whether they actually do regular services to the rest of their fleet.
