Buenos Aires must visit places

Sorry for the late posts on this update. This particular post is an update of the 7 must visit places in Buenos Aires that I did recently.

Out of the 7 places that I laid out, I managed to complete 6 of them. I consider this an achievement considering my busy schedule. So, here’s the updates.

1. Tour the Barrios

Status: Completed

These are places like La Boca, Recoleta, Puerto Madero, San Telmo, El-Centro. I managed to made several round on these places and I found that these places have their own attractions.

2. Walk through Recoleta Cemetery

Status: Completed

I planned to walk through Recoleta Cemetery. They say many of Argentina notables are buried here in this city of mausoleums, including Eva Duarte de Peron and her family. So, below are some of the beautiful and unique mausoleum there.

3. Shopping

Status: Completed

Managed to browse through several shopping places in Florida Street, Santa Fe and Recoleta. So yes, did bought some interesting stuff from Buenos Aires :)

4. Obelisco

Status: Completed

I also managed to take few photos of the Obelisco shown below.

5. Plaza de Mayo and the Casa Rosada

Status: Completed

Didn’t manage to take the photos.

6. Experience Tango

Status: Not Completed

This is the only one that I did not managed to do due to the time constraint that I have. Will complete this in my next trip in April 2008.

7. Fragata Escuela Presidente Sarmiento

Status: Completed

    quite an interesting monuments they have there. The Obelisco sounds familiar…is it a significant monument?

    yes, Buenos Aires is just like Europe. It offer lots of beautiful and unique monuments. Yes, obelisco is one of the significant monument there :)
