Yesterday sucks for me as my notebook crashes out of nowhere. I supposed electronic stuff tends to crash for no apparent reason. Asked my IT stuff to do it, but they never came. They only arrived today, yes.. after I’ve called them several times.

The problem with my notebook is, it does not load my settings, I can log-in but it does not load the setting, so all you can see was the BLUE-ish screen The funny thing is, I can log into the Safe Mode but not the normal window.

Various methods have been tried and tested including: restart, flash the RAM, defrag and all doesn’t work. Luckily, after pursuing my IT dept several times, they came and took my notebook for repair. Instead of repairing it, I told them to reformat the whole notebook. Damn! that was easy!

So, a bit of lesson for us here i guess:

1. Always do back-up of your data

2. Refer to no 1 above

P/s: I did manage to back-up my data through the safe mode. If you can’t then your data would probably be gone for good
