Sony Ericsson vs. BlackBerry

Recently, I changed my P990i. My P990i have served me at its very best for the past two years. I had helped me a lot through the great stuff that is installed in it. But I guess, it is inevitable that we need to move on and get another device that may suit your needs and wants. Anyhow, this is the only thing that guy can pamper himself :)

Talking about changed, I have moved to a BlackBerry device model 8707g. This is the only BlackBerry device that provides 3G. I need this because I do travel to Japan. You do know that you can’t use your mobile roaming in Japan without 3g right? If not, where have you been?

Taking the Blackberry makes me sacrifice some of the functions that I like in p990i. These functions are:

  1. Business Card Scanner - Yes, this function is very useful especially when the counterparties have only 1 card left :) I guess I can live without this :(
  2. Camera - Blackberry do not have this :( But I rarely use it anyway
  3. Playing video & MP3 - these is important to me but I guess i can always use my mp3 player

I will talk some of the software and functionality that I like about my new device in the coming posts :)

Actually P990 can run BlackBerry connect what. So u get to use Blackberry service as well as your favorite device. Like me, I use e61i and running Blackberry Connect on it… same blackberry service without the blackberry device itself.

Kay and Papa, thank you for the support.

Yes, Julian, I know. I have been suing the push email functions with my P990i for quite some time before. What I am saying here is, I am moving to the Blackberry device with the blackberry services.
