After Russia becomes the last team to qualify for the quarter final, I am anxiously waiting for the match between Portugal and German to start at 0245 am on 20th June 2008.

For the record, German has won three European Championships and three World Cups despite rarely having boasted the most talented collection of players.

Throughout the matches German’s Klose and Ballack have not been playing very well as compared to the Portuguese players. But I think Germans will keep on attacking Portugal’s goalkeeper after witnessing his weakness in commanding the penalty areas against Switzerland. But then again, could it be that Portugal is just giving chances to the Swiss :p

On the other hand, Portugal look strong in their attacking side, where Nuno Gomes will lead the Portugal attack with Simao Sabrosa. Both will be accompanied by Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo and Deco. While Ricardo Carvalho and Pepe forming the most-admired centreback partnership for Portugal.

I am gonna vote for Portugal for these match.
