I hate negative comments, especially when it comes from someone that I don’t know. But then again, I think negative comment plays an important role in the blogsphere. It helps to encourage discussions among the readers. It could also be a sign that your blog is growing and so does the readers. And who knows, negative comments can also increase your blog traffic
Personally, I would love to have someone to provide a negative comment to my posts. Again, negative comments gives you the opportunity to improve your content and writing skills.
Now, you’ve receive a negative comment in your blog, what’s next? How do you handle these negative comments then?
The way I look at it, the best way is to smile and thank him for his comments while at the same time inquire about his concern. Do not just go and fight with the commentator, you are being unreasonable and unprofessional. You might also learn something along the way.
If you don’t like negative comments, you always have the option to edit and even delete them from your admin page. Finally, you can avoid negative comments by activating the “held the comments for moderation” in Admin >> Options >> Discussion pages. These methods can slow down your blog interactivity and participation, so you decide.
Do you have any other ideas on how to handle negative comment?
