- I was about to login to Maybank2u to transfer some money when suddenly I realised their Ad on the top page saying - “All new, All you - maybank2u.com” and it looks like this:

- The login page looks like this:

- Looks like maybank is changing their website appearance. Personally its a good move as it has been awhile since maybank actually revamped their website. Opps, did they ever?
- Out of curiousity I decided to test their Beta system to get the feel of the new system and here’s what I found out:
- The homepage is beautifully designed but what’s with the black color
- The login is also good with an awareness message. Again, what’s with the black background
- The current homepage is not centered while the new one is located at the center of the page. Looks more professional to me.
- Once logged-in, the page shows big icons for each of the categories i.e. saving, fund transfers, ect. The previous site only shows the categories in list form
- However, I do find the new format quite disturbing and could easily make some people confuse on how to actually use the available functions.
- The money transfer was also a bit confusing for me at first, but managed to figure out how to actually transfer the money.
- In summary, it’s a good move, good try, nice web but further improvements can be made i.e simplifying the process of transferring money and paying as an example
- For those of you who has a maybank account go and try it out.
Note:
This is not an advertisement (I wish it was so I can charged them a fee). I have no affiliation or what so ever with maybank - cheers
